Students and groups from the Music Tree Preparatory School will perform at several programs and recitals from December 13 to January 5. Early Bird music enhances preschool development

Early exposure to music and movement unlocks both social and intellectual development in preschoolers. All-instrument auditions set for honors recital

In preparation for the first Music Tree Honors Recital, all-instrument auditions will be held Friday, March 18 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Music Tree. Music Tree vocal student Lauren Elizabeth Smith has been chosen to play a leading role in the Theatre Baton Rouge’s upcoming production Into the Woods. Lauren, 15, will play Little Red in the musical slated to run March 4-20, 2016. She is the daughter of Trevor and Regina Smith and a sophomore at Zachary High School. Music Tree student Gracie Ellerbee attended the Interlochen Arts Camp, the world’s premier summer arts program for aspiring artists grades 3 through 12.
